It's almost the end of my semester at uni & I've got an exam tomorrow before I get almost a month off! (yay!) As always I've been really focused with uni for the past 3 months, so it will be nice to have a few weeks off to catch up with other projects & finally relax! It should be interesting what I come up with in the weeks ahead creatively so watch this space!
It's been a cruisey & quiet week for me with music, I've been listening to a variety of artists; BORNS, Saskwatch & Chairlift to name a few. As generally I delve into all sorts of genres when I'm studying (mainly the calmer styles to keep me de-stressed) Between studying for my end of semester exam, I managed to squeeze in some social fun by attending the Grand opening night for "March into Merivale" last Wednesday & then over the weekend I checked out Australia's Biggest Short Film Festival Tropfest.
With uni in mind, this week's post will be slightly shorter, but packed with much punch! As last week I saw the most craziest out of this world music video I ever seen! Check it out below:
OK Go is an American alternative rock band originally from Chicago, Illinois, now based in Los Angeles, California. I've known OK Go since their song "Here it goes Again" in 2005 (check it out here) from their album "Oh No". They are well & truly famous for their creatively amazing music videos & this one for "Upside Down & Inside Out" is truly out of this world!
"Upside Down & Inside Out" was only released last Thursday 11th February (a few days ago!) which I believe is there first music video in what could be 2 years. I've watched this music video a few hundred times now & each time I notice something different.
Should be interesting to see where the band will go after this single release! Watch this space! (haha see what I did there)
Cheers Amy
